Step through the wooden doors of Villa Bebek and enjoy a private piece of paradise in the heart of Seminyak. Conveniently located just 100 meters from Seminyak’s ‘Eat Street’, Villa Bebek is within short walking distance to some of Seminyak’s best restaurants, including Trattoria, Rumours and Mykonos. It is also a quick and easy 5 minute drive to Petitenget Beach, Ku De Ta and the gourmet Bali Deli among many other popular attractions.
Each of Villa Bebek’s 3 bedroom suites are air conditioned and equipped with flat screen TVs, DVD players and attached bathrooms. The master bedroom features a 2x2m king-sized bed, whilst the other 2 bedrooms are furnished with queen sized beds. The master bedroom also shares its space with a jacuzzi bathtub, shower recess, walk in wardrobe, and outdoor balcony overlooking the pool below.
The crystal clear swimming pool is surrounded by a spacious patio area and a large stone Buddha carving facing the main living pavilion. Decorated with traditional art pieces, the villa’s lush tropical garden also offers guests plenty of sunbeds and reclining loungers around the pool for sun bathing. A staircase near the pool leads upstairs to a dining gazebo and hangout area. It is certainly the most beautiful spot from which to enjoy a romantic dinner or to sip cocktails whilst watching the sun set.

The next town north of Legian, Seminyak is more upmarket with mostly luxury accommodation and fashionable high-end restaurants and bars. The atmosphere is much more sophisticated and laid-back than Kuta, and the beach in particular is quieter during the day. Seminyak is also the high end spa and boutique shopping capital of Bali. Nowhere is the upscaling of Bali in recent years more obvious than here.
It is hard to imagine that only ten years ago this was a distinctly separate village, and something of a backwater. Development has occurred at an astonishing pace, and as well as absorbing all green space which formerly separated Seminyak from Legian, it is now almost impossible to determine where Seminyak ends and the nearby villages of Petitenget, Umalas and Kerobokan begin. This certainly has its downside, and the whole district has become very congested.
Update for 2013 New roadworks have been completed and traffic has been reduced by as much as 50% from south to north. 3pm to 6pm is still a time you need to avoid traveling.
